Seminarian Dinner

The Church Directories have arrived!

Many of the new directories were distributed after Masses May 5 & 6. If you had your picture taken and have not received your complimentary copy, you may pick it up in the Church Office.

After they have been distributed to those who participated, extras will be available for purchase at a fee of $5 each. Watch the bulletin or call the church office for an update.

With praise and gratitude to Almighty God, the Diocese of Savannah, GA announces the ordination of Paul Edward Worth to the order of Permanent Deacon. The Sacrament of Holy Orders will be conferred by His Excellency Gregory John Hartmayer, Bishop of Savannah, on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, 222 E. Harris St., Savannah, GA. Seating is limited so if you plan to attend you need to arrive at least one hour early. Spaghetti Dinner

The Newman Center Students are holding a spaghetti dinner on Saturday, April 14 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Parish Center. Guests can eat in or take out! The menu includes spaghetti, garlic bread, salad, dessert and drink. Price is $7.00 per person or 4 for $20. Children age 3 and under eat for free! Be sure to join us for a delicious meal!

Lenten Adult Education Class

Please join us on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 pm for five weeks to reflect on the Gospel accounts of the Passion of the Christ. Classes begin March 7th. This will be a good way to prepare for Holy Week. All classes will be led by Deacon David Lasseter and will be held in the Maturi Room.

Join us for the observance of the Stations of the Cross every Friday night during Lent at 7:30 p.m. Each week will feature a different version of the Stations based on the Gospels, and different music to assist you in your Lenten journey. This is a chance to reflect on the Passion of Christ in preparation for Easter.
